Last week, I was in kensington to shoot the Nenuphar Autumn/ Winter Collection.... 8 kids, lots of toys, tantrums and smiles later,  we pretty much had it wrapped up.....

A couple of weeks ago, I was in Battersea to photograph my first set of twins Victor and William. I enjoyed this session ...I was intoduced to Muffy the canine protector who did not want me to get close to the boys at all and kept getting in all the frames and not in a good way.... we also spent some time at the local fair which was really colourful....all in all, a great session.

Would love to talk a lot more about it but i'm out the door for a much deserved break before my wedding bookings in August....

A few weeks ago, i spoke about the mini sessions i would be having in Kensington; well, they have come and gone and were great. The sessions were very different from the way i usually work but i still enjoyed them. Each child had 2o minutes with me as opposed to the 1.5 - 2 hours my normal sessions usually take; this meant i had to work very fast and engage the kids in a way i normally wouldn't do as i tend to be really hands off during sessions. I think it turned okay....

 

 

 

Last week saw me with soizick in Kensington for a family portrait session.  Soizick just had her third child, so we were introducing little Henri to the 'joys of photography'. I have photographed his older sister and brother so many times these past 2 years; they are both used to having me around and actually love to pose infront of the camera now ....

Tuesday saw me with Soizick of nenuphar to photograph her spring/summer collection.... I would love to talk about the session but i have to head out pretty soon so, here are the stats.... 14 kids, chaos, a few tears and laughter with organic biscuits, hula hoops, fruit juice, carrot sticks and apple wedges to smooth the way...

Last week saw me in Earls Court; not with Soizick of Nenuphar as usual, but with Elvire.... Elvire is the person behind La Maison De Cleophee. The first time we spoke was December 2007 and she was so excited, it was infectious.... we hit it off immediately and were on the same wave length with regards to  the sort of images we could create for her candles.... one pre-shoot meeting, a mountain of magazine reference cut outs and a full day's shoot later, the following are just a few of the many images we came up with....

A couple of weeks ago, I was up in Cambridge for a lifestyle photo-shoot. The more I go up to Cambridge, the more I absolutely love it......

The Photo- shoot was for Barnaby. I hijacked his Mum at the Grand Designs Lifestyle show back in June; and she later called me to arrange a session. Here are a few of my favorites......

2 weeks ago I was back at Earls Court with Soizick for the Nenuphar Autumn/Winter '07 photo-shoot. I always love working with Soizick because she is one of those clients that has an idea of what she would like but also allows me to take the idea and stretch it even further.....  This particular photo-shoot was a simple affair mainly because of the number of children we had ..(there were about 8 children...) I pretty much let the kids their own thing whilst i went around photographing them.....

Another interesting thing about this photo-shoot was how much the kids have grown, and how bold and confident they have become in front of the camera.... last year, i could not get them away from their mothers but this time, it was more a case of.... err, can i take someone else's picture now 'cause I've got loads of pictures of you....?!!! lol:) .... this is the third time I've gone round so they're pretty much used to seeing me and my massive camera pointed at them,  i suppose they think..well, there's really no point in being shy anymore so, might as well get on with the business of scoffing down those cup cakes and apple juice as quickly as possible.....

Mairi and I had been emailing  about 2 months before the photo shoot date..... she emailed me a photograph of herself and Hugh, told me how they were both not photogenic .....and then I met them on Sunday ........ hmmm Mairi, I don't know...... :)

I had a good time on Sunday.... we talked,  laughed and saw Hugh  'misbehave'  according to Mairi, and had Hugh take my photograph whilst I was doing my thing...... (i'll def. be posting those images soon....)
