NEW ALBUMS: 2009 SEASON

Yes, yes... I know we are not quite at the end of 2008, but my brides start searching for photographers from August/September ..so for me, that is the start of my pre-wedding meeting season proper.

I am so excited as my new samples have started coming in. As i work from home, the security guys in my building have been quite concerned with the more than unusually high deliveries of brown boxes this past week; i've had to assure them it's nothing of a nefarious nature just a whole load of stuff that could keep a girl like me happy for quite a while.... wierd i know; but hey, we all take our joys where we find them right?

so without further blabbing, here are some images of the one of the new album samples as well as a peek at some of the design spreads - as you can see i kinda like to keep designs as simple and clean as possible..as i think that's the best way to show off images rather than trying to cram as many images on a page as possible (Hint hint hint.... future brides please take note.... just because there is white space on the page dosen't always mean an image must have a home there... less is really more...trust me!!!)

PORTRAIT SESSION: BATTERSEA, LONDON

A couple of weeks ago, I was in Battersea to photograph my first set of twins Victor and William. I enjoyed this session ...I was intoduced to Muffy the canine protector who did not want me to get close to the boys at all and kept getting in all the frames and not in a good way.... we also spent some time at the local fair which was really colourful....all in all, a great session.

Would love to talk a lot more about it but i'm out the door for a much deserved break before my wedding bookings in August....

MINI PORTRAIT SESSIONS: KENSINGTON, LONDON

A few weeks ago, i spoke about the mini sessions i would be having in Kensington; well, they have come and gone and were great. The sessions were very different from the way i usually work but i still enjoyed them. Each child had 2o minutes with me as opposed to the 1.5 - 2 hours my normal sessions usually take; this meant i had to work very fast and engage the kids in a way i normally wouldn't do as i tend to be really hands off during sessions. I think it turned okay....
